Pre-K Mathematics is a research-based early math curriculum and support system designed to strengthen young children’s informal mathematical knowledge before kindergarten. It focuses on core areas like number sense and counting, basic arithmetic with concrete objects, spatial reasoning and geometry, patterns, and measurement and data. Activities are hands-on, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with math learning standards.
The program includes teacher professional development and coaching, weekly in-class small-group math activities, and math activities that go home with families to reinforce learning. It is grounded in cognitive development research and has been validated by rigorous studies showing positive effects on children’s math readiness.
